Who Do You Need To Be In 2022?

I've gotta say. I'm so excited to see what's ahead this year. How are you feeling about 2022? Are you excited, apprehensive? Do you have, have some goals written out? On this episode, I gotta say at the risk of being cliche and doing the overdone topic of the new year and preparing for the year ahead, like everybody does we're gonna do it too. I want to look at it in a different way though, if you follow the live your real life now social media you know, I'm a huge advocate for setting goals, but what I'm gonna chat about today is who do you need to become in order to achieve those goals? What kind of mindset will you need? What new habits will you need to develop? What habits will you need to steer away from? Basically what I'm saying is it's so great to take the first step up of deciding on your goals but if you don't have the habits and mindset you'll require in order to reach those goals, it could be more of an uphill battle than it needs to be. This is something that I always incorporate into my prep for the year ahead. So for me, I have some big, hairy business goals for 2022. I know there's a certain mindset I'm going to have to adopt in order to get there. I will have to come out of my shell a little more in order to get my message that I want you all to hear out there. You see there's times that I'm so scared to put new ideas out there for the world to see just like you might feel at times when starting something new. But you know, if all I do is so to say hi behind the camera, it's not going to fulfill my business goals. So I said to myself, when I was sitting down writing my goals what do I have to be? Who do I have to be? Who's the woman that has already achieved that goal. I will work on being her. 
What mindset does she have? I will work on being that person who has already achieved that goal and is working with that mindset of, uh, confidence of, of not being afraid to put herself out there. So next the habits, what kind of habits does that Jennifer need to have? What kind of habits does that Jennifer that has already achieved those big hair business goals? What does she do? Well, one of them is I know I need to schedule myself better.  I teach time blocking to my clients when we talk about time management. But recently I haven't myself been very good at it while running two businesses, I found that I don't stick to the time blocking as much. And then, so I get a little too spread out. So there's a habit that isn't serving me that I need to steer away from in another habit that I will work on develop. 
So it's really like working your way backwards. So think to yourself when I achieve this goal, what is the habit or what are the habits that got me there? What is my mindset once I've achieved success? Okay. So I'm gonna be that person. Now, when I talk about this, it always reminds me of a scene from that movie, the boiler room that tells you how old I am . But, uh, and some of you might not know it. Uh, it's with Ben LIC and it's about stockbrokers. And he always says to them, the new stockbrokers, he says, act as if, act as that version of you that has already achieved your goals. You know, this works for so many things, uh, business goals. Yes, absolutely. But also say you're like me, and maybe you gained a couple pounds over the holidays and maybe you didn't have the best nutrition or maybe you didn't go to the gym. 
In my case at all. I mean, right now our gyms are closed, but I gotta tell you the two days before they close, I went two days straight to the gym. like probably a couple other people did. So I was sitting up doing my goals. And one of my goals is I'm gonna lose those extra pounds. I'm gonna work on being a bit fitter. So I work backwards. What are the habits and mindset of the Jennifer who is fitter, who eats healthier and feels better right now. Okay. So the gyms are closed, but I bet that Jennifer still exercises that Jennifer probably has more than coffee for b
